Assistant Superintendent
A leading concrete repair contractor is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to oversee and manage restoration projects. This role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously from inception to completion, leading multiple foremen, and ensuring job site safety. Responsibilities include managing multiple projects from start to finish, leading and overseeing multiple foremen, handling RFI, Change Orders, and Submittals, ensuring job site safety and conducting toolbox talks, repairing full depth or spalled concrete and managing expansion joints, overseeing waterproofing efforts and managing other subcontractors, coordinating with MEP contractors, utilizing Procore for project management tasks, preparing and overseeing 2-week lookahead schedules, and managing quantities and materials for projects.
Essential skills include 3-10 years of experience in concrete repair and construction management, a strong understanding of concrete repair processes and base scope of work, proficiency in managing multiple job sites and foremen, experience with masonry, RFI, change orders, submittals, and Procore, knowledge of safety practices and regulations, and the ability to conduct 2-week lookahead scheduling. Additional skills and qualifications include a background in construction management and experience as a foreman is a plus.
This role requires on-site work five days a week, primarily in NJ and NY. The company is a growing firm offering opportunities for career advancement.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincoln Park, NJ. The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
