Responsibilities Work in a hospital setting with 5 interventional radiology rooms, including IR, Neuro IR, Neuro surgery intervention, and vascular surgery Level 1 trauma center with a high volume of emergent and stroke intervention cases Monday through Friday 7 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM schedule Coverage includes procedures in IR rooms, operating room for vascular surgery, and a mid-level procedure room Utilizes Siemens Artis Z (single and biplane) and Philips Azurion systems, as well as a C-Arm for mediports and tunnel lines Equipment includes Jet stream, Angiojet, CSI, IVUS, and Penumbra systems Perform neuro intervention procedures including aneurysm coilings, pipeline stents, and AVM treatments Cases may include urologic, liver, dialysis, trauma, and GI embolizations Responsible for the placement and removal of mediports, paracentesis, and thoracentesis Frequent use of advanced imaging and revascularization systems Role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team including mid-level providers Requirements Current ARRT certification required BLS required Graduate of an A.M.A. approved school of Radiologic Technology Minimum 1 year of interventional radiology experience Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience within the last 2 years required License required if applicable No local candidates; must reside outside a 75-mile radius Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-634673.
