Job description

I am recruiting for an Application Developer ( 6+ Months : Contract ) opportunity located in Jacksonville, FL - hybrid : 2 days onsite & 3 days remotely. PLEASE NOTE, THE CLIENT WILL ONLY CONSIDER LOCAL CANDIDATES FOR THIS ROLE. Please let me know if you have any consultants that meets the below requirements?

  • Important : No layers (We can only work with the employer who holds the visa and there can NOT be any layers)
  • Pay Rate : $62 / hour on C2C
  • Annual Salary Conversion : $100,000 / year
  • Duration : 6+ Months : Contract to Hire
  • Client : Confidential
  • Work Location : Jacksonville, FL - hybrid : 2 days onsite & 3 days remotely
  • Start Date : ASAP
  • Visas : Open to US Citizens or Green Card Holders only - Must be able to convert without sponsorship now and also in the future

The Application Developer creates and implements application changes and is expected to stay abreast of the available technology regarding application development, information delivery, and relational database technology.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Designs, develops, and implements end-to-end integrated systems.
  • Develops and executes test plans to check infrastructure and systems technical performance, reports on findings, and makes recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of department's strategic business plans.
  • Develops in-depth knowledge of company's existing IT architecture / infrastructure and technology portfolio.
  • Conducts research on emerging technologies in support of infrastructure development efforts and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and infrastructure flexibility.
  • Other duties as assigned or required.

    • REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS :

  • A bachelor's degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or computer engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience working as a developer.
  • Must have .NET C#, SQL coding, AngularJS & Angular 7 and Azure DevOps for Task Management & GIT Source Control.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with application development tools, including Visual Studio 6 and Visual Studio .NET.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with relational database technology, preferably Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Intermediate technical knowledge of network, PC, and platform operating systems, including current Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop releases.
