Medical Director (DVM) League City TX

A veterinary hospital in League City TX is seeking a dedicated Medical Director to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian looking to provide high-quality care in a collaborative and supportive environment.

What Youll Do

Provide compassionate high-quality medical and surgical care to patients

Lead and mentor veterinary team members to promote a positive and collaborative environment

Ensure compliance with state and federal veterinary laws including proper maintenance of controlled substance records

Partner with practice management to maintain consistent standards of care and operational excellence

Assist in resolving medical-related client concerns with professionalism and empathy

Support continuous improvement in medical protocols quality assurance and workflow efficiency

What Were Looking For

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) degree or equivalent

Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the state of Arizona

DEA license required

Minimum of 4 years of clinical experience; leadership experience preferred

Strong communication organizational and problem-solving skills

Proven ability to motivate and lead a team with fairness and collaboration
