This regional medical center, located 1 hour from Asheville and 1 hour 15 minutes to Charlotte, is seeking a board certified / board eligible Hematology / Oncology physician.
Opportunity Overview :
- 98% Outpatient practice
- 1 : 3 Call; Hospitalists facilitate admissions
- All calls are first routed through 24 / 7 oncology nurse’s line
- Never called into hospital
- 8a-5p Monday-Thursday, 1 / 2-day Friday (8a-12p)
- Caseload 13-15 Patients / day
- 2 PA’s on Staff
- 2 Radiation Oncologists
- 2 new linear accelerators
- 24 infusion chairs
- Patient navigators & cancer support groups
- Opportunity for tumor board and cancer committee engagement
- Network with nationally renowned cancer specialists on complex cases
- Option for clinical trials
- Precepting residents available
- Diagnostics Include :
- X-ray, CT
- Ultrasound
- Mammography
- Bone Density
- Nuclear
- Mobile PET & Mamo
- MRI & Breast MRI
