Salesforce Technical Product Manager
Start Date : ASAP
Duration : 6-month contract with option to extend
Location : Rancho Santa Margarita
Compensation : Starts at $75 / hour (W2 only, no C2C). Rate may vary based on experience and skillset.
What You’ll Do
- Own the Salesforce product vision, roadmap, and backlog
- Translate business requirements into clear user stories and platform enhancements
- Lead Agile ceremonies and partner closely with development teams
- Support UAT and ensure high-quality feature delivery
- Provide expertise across Sales, Service, Marketing, Data & Experience Clouds
- Manage day-to-day platform support, issues, and third-party integrations
- Maintain documentation, training materials, and platform governance
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Product Owner or Technical Product Manager delivering solutions in an Agile environmentMinimum 5 years of hands-on experience using, configuring, or implementing Salesforce solutionsDemonstrated experience owning requirements, backlog creation, and Agile deliveryProven experience performing Salesforce configuration and administrationStrong track record driving measurable results and managing competing prioritiesSkills and Competencies
Proficiency in Salesforce Data Management (imports, exports, updates) using Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, or ETL toolsStrong working knowledge of Salesforce development tools and technologies, including :Apex for custom logicLightning FlowsVisualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and integration techniques (REST / SOAP APIs)Deep understanding of Salesforce core objects, workflows, reports, and dashboardsStrong knowledge of Salesforce security and sharing models (OWD, role hierarchy, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, public groups), including Salesforce ShieldProficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Agile project management toolsExceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilitiesOutstanding communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to lead cross-functional initiatives and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teamsCertificates, Licenses & Registrations
Salesforce Administrator Certification requiredWhat Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred, not required)
