The contract is for 13 to 26 weeks. Floating is required as needed; there is potential to float every shift. RTO after booking is not allowed. Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could lead to cancellation. Patient diagnoses include congestive heart failure and arrhythmias. Unit monitors cardiac patients and administers cardiac drips. Staffing ratios are 1 : 6-7. Weekend shifts are required; approximately 5-6 over a 6-week schedule period. Candidates must be comfortable floating to other units based on skill sets and census. Candidates need to demonstrate teamwork and adherence to behavioral expectations in all interactions. Potential assignments may involve reporting during catastrophic events or disasters. Candidates must pass EKG testing prior to starting.
