Senior FP&A Analyst

We're seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented Senior FP&A Analyst to join our lean, high-impact team. In this role, you will help drive financial visibility and decision-making across a rapidly scaling defense hardware company. You will support planning, forecasting, and performance analysis to enable fast, confident decisions by our leadership and engineering teams.

This is not a sit-back-and-model role - we're looking for someone who can roll up their sleeves, build from scratch, and thrive in an environment where the right answer often needs to be figured out quickly with imperfect information.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage detailed financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
• Analyze cost structures across programs, vendors, and internal operations to identify savings and performance improvement opportunities
• Partner with engineering, operations, and leadership teams to track spend vs plan, headcount forecasts, and capital allocations
• Support proposal and business case development for new customer programs
• Assist in preparation of board decks, investor updates, and internal financial reviews
• Design and implement scalable tools and processes to improve data quality and reporting cadence
