Job Title : Architect - Retail construction

Job Description

Join a dynamic and collaborative Retail Studio in Seattle as an Intermediate Architectural Staff member. This role is perfect for individuals who excel in a team environment and are passionate about producing high-quality construction documents in a fast-paced setting. You will be an integral part of a supportive team where you can make a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities

Produce full sets of construction documents, including plans, elevations, sections, and details.

Apply building codes and technical detailing to ensure compliance.

Coordinate with consultants and internal teams for seamless project execution.

Utilize Revit, AutoCAD, and other design tools effectively.

Support site planning, material selection, and cost estimating processes.

Engage in light project management and client interaction as needed.

Essential Skills

Proficient in producing detailed, code-compliant drawing sets using Revit.

Skilled in technical coordination and applying building codes and standards.

Clear communicator who collaborates well with teams and meets deadlines.

Experience with high-volume retail rollout projects, particularly in food and beverage.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to lead junior staff and contribute to team coordination.

Comfortable supporting client interactions.

Work Environment

This is a fully remote position working in pacific time zone hours.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seattle, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00 / hr.
