HYBRID JOB DESCRIPTION

PRACTICE SETTINGS

You would spend roughly 50% of your time as a member of our hospitalist team at Charles Regional Medical Center in LaPlata, Maryland. As a member of the hospitalist team, youd be responsible for admitting patients, performing physical exams, ordering tests, diagnosing, performing hospital rounds, and planning for discharge. The other half of your time would be spent serving as an attending physician across several of our skilled nursing facility clients in Southern Maryland, where you would perform exams and develop treatment plans, adhere to Adfinitas and facilitys policies and procedures, facilitate patients transition within and between healthcare settings, and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members.

REQUIREMENTS

• Board eligible / Board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Highly effective verbal and written communication skills, including use of email, are necessary in dealing with a variety of healthcare professionals, Adfinitas colleagues, family members, and patients.
• Team oriented attitude toward patient care.

• Demonstrate commitment to high ethical standards and healthcare compliance.
• Skill in diagnosing and treating diseases.
• Active state license, American Heart Association CPR Certification, DEA License, state Controlled Substance Registration, BLS and ACLS
