Nuclear Weapons Maintenance Support Specialist

Position Description :

Join us as a Nuclear Weapons Maintenance Support Specialist where your expertise will ensure the operational readiness and safety of the nations nuclear weapons. Your role is critical in maintaining the reliability of our nuclear deterrent.

This position is located in albuquerque NM.

Your future duties and responsibilities :

Support the management of the Limited Life Component (LLC) program evaluate stockpile data and develop LLC distribution schedules. Interface with transportation planners and assist in policy development. Prepare technical procedures and support maintenance managers.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role :

o years of performing similar requirements and a BA / BS degree. years of demonstrated experience with a High School Diploma.

o DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency)

o DTRA (Defense Threat Reduction Agency) experience required

o Extensive knowledge of nuclear weapons maintenance and LLC management.

o Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret DoD and DOE directives.

o Experience in preparing time-critical technical procedures.

o Ability to interface with the Office of Secure Transportation and Military Services.

o Capable of independently providing backup for Department Maintenance Support Managers.

Clearance Required : Current DoD TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility.

Location : Albuquerque New Mexico

Education Requirement : Bachelors degree in Engineering Physics Nuclear Science or a related field and 6 years of relevant experience or a HS Diploma with 8 years of relevant experience.

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $111600.00 - $219600.00.
