Senior Engineering Manager

A company is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers focused on building and scaling core data and infrastructure systems.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of backend engineers working on data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration systems

Review designs, guide architecture decisions, and contribute to code in Python and Kubernetes environments

Establish engineering processes that enhance reliability, speed, and quality while driving clarity and accountability across projects

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in software engineering, including 3+ years in leadership roles

Strong technical background in distributed systems, data infrastructure, or platform engineering

Deep fluency in Python and cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes, Docker, AWS / GCP / Azure)

Experience in shipping and operating complex production systems

Proven ability to establish scalable delivery processes and engineering best practices
