Occupational Therapist

Job Summary

Organizes and conducts Occupational Therapy treatment programs to facilitate rehabilitation of physically handicapped patients. Evaluates patients as ordered by the physician; and directs patient participation in therapeutic activities selected to restore or develop functional performance. Techniques include teaching of skills, training in compensatory techniques or adaptive devices or environment to promote independence level to its highest potential. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Requirements

• A graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy and completion of clinical requirements resulting in attainment of a Bachelor of Science or Master's degree.
• Must have successfully passed the National Registration Examination and be certified to practice Occupational Therapy in the State of Indiana or be certificate eligible.
• CPR certification or must obtain at next available class upon hire.
