Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,341 per week in Roseburg, OR

Staff-to-patient ratios are 1 : 2. The unit treats common diagnoses including cardiac and respiratory conditions. Registered Nurses are required to titrate drips. Common titratable and set rate drips include Levophed, Propofol, Insulin, Dopamine, Neosynephrine, and Precedex. Charge Nurse or House Supervisor roles are present. There are no nurse aides on this unit. A Hospitalist or Intensivist is available on-site. Respiratory Therapy is available 24 / 7. The unit is equipped with necessary respiratory equipment, including vents, CPAP, and BiPAP. Registered Nurses read monitor strips rather than having a dedicated monitor tech. Weekend requirements involve working every other weekend. A holiday requirement consists of one major and one minor holiday. There may be a call or standby requirement during low census, with a 30-minute response time if called in. Floating may occur based on staffing needs. The dress code requires specific colors, including black, cocoa brown, charcoal grey, navy blue, and khaki. Unit-specific orientation consists of two shifts. The charting system used is MediTech.
