Labor and Delivery RN - Per Diem - Nights

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join a dedicated maternal care team in California . This role is ideal for a clinician confident in managing the full scope of childbirth-from labor through delivery and immediate postpartum care-while ensuring a safe and supportive environment for both mother and baby.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
• Monitor fetal heart tones, uterine activity, and maternal vital signs
• Administer medications and IV fluids, including oxytocin and epidural support
• Support vaginal and cesarean deliveries, including emergency situations
• Educate patients and families on the birthing process and postpartum care
• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, anesthesiologists, and neonatal staff
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital standards
• Uphold safety and infection prevention protocols throughout care
