GEI's California Water resources practice is growing, and we are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Rancho Cordova office. Candidate would also provide support to GEI's companywide Structural / Geo-Structural practice. This individual will assist with inspection, evaluation, design, and construction observation of hydraulic structures, including dams, spillways, outlet works, gates, water conveyance structures, pump stations. Strong design experience with steel, concrete and theoretical background with experience in applying analyses to practical solutions, including linear and non-linear finite element modeling and analyses under static and dynamic loading is desired. Working knowledge of geotechnical engineering to assist in the design of soil / structure interaction elements is preferred. The selected candidate will work with senior leadership in GEI's California Rancho Cordova office and elsewhere.
