Baker / Production Lead (Part-Time)

Hours : 9 : 00 AM – 2 : 00 PM
Schedule : 3 fixed days per week
SoftSpot is seeking a part-time Baker / Production Lead to manage morning baking, prep, and production for our high-volume dessert café. This role requires accuracy, consistency, and the ability to work independently while executing daily production before opening.
This position involves commercial kitchen equipment; therefore, candidates must be 18 or older .
ServSafe preferred ; certification cost covered if needed.
Responsibilities
Complete all morning baking, prep, and production within the 9 AM–2 PM shift
Execute standardized recipes and production systems with consistency
Maintain a clean, organized, and properly labeled prep area
Operate, clean, and reset commercial equipment (mixers, induction equipment, soft-serve machines)
Prepare daily items including doughs, batters, bases, and toppings
Support light in-store work after 12 PM
Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
Qualifications
Must be 18+ due to equipment operation requirements
Must be able to commit to a 9 AM–2 PM , 3-day-per-week fixed shift
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Reliable, punctual, and consistent
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the shift
ServSafe certification preferred (covered by employer if needed)
Prior bakery, prep, or production experience is a plus
