ER RN - D / N / W / Holiday rotation : 3x12s 2 on-call shifts per 4 weeks. Must have BLS ACLS PALS Stroke Certification (AHA or RQI). Minimum 2 years acute hospital RN experience including 1 year in the ED.
Complete Description :
The Emergency Department RN provides high-quality compassionate care to patients and families. Responsibilities include :
Assessing patient needs prioritizing care based on urgency and delivering direct interventions.
Performing invasive and non-invasive procedures for life-threatening and routine emergencies.
Monitoring patient responses documenting care and reassessing as needed.
Communicating effectively with patients families and interdisciplinary team members.
Teaching delegating and ensuring patient / family understanding of care plans.
Maintaining safety infection control and compliance with hospital protocols.
Preparing patients for diagnostics coordinating post-emergency care and supporting healing environments.
Required Skills & Certifications :
BLS ACLS PALS NIHSS
NYS RN Licensure
2 years RN experience (minimum 1 year in ED)
