Job description

Are you looking for flexible, project-based work that fits around your lifestyle? FLEX-ROC by T-ROC is on the lookout for enthusiastic and engaging individuals to proudly represent exciting consumer brands during special two-week roadshows in major retail settings like Costco, Sams, BJs, and other big-box stores.

This short-term, high-impact role offers you the chance to demonstrate products, engage with shoppers, and drive sales. After each event, you may experience some downtime between shows, depending on scheduling and brand requirements. This position is perfect for those seeking flexible, event-based work with the potential for ongoing assignments.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Set up and arrange a designated display, kiosk, or demo station within retail environments.
  • Present products in an appealing way to draw attention and ensure promotional materials, signage, and samples are displayed correctly.
  • Approach and engage with customers in a friendly and inviting manner to promote and sell featured products.
  • Conduct demonstrations and clearly explain key features and benefits.
  • Support sales and marketing initiatives through various tasks as necessary.
  • Utilize company-required apps and digital tools, including Vision App, for timekeeping and sales reporting.
  • Log sales activity, customer interactions, and inventory usage accurately in real-time using mobile applications or reporting tools.
  • Follow all store-specific and T-ROC safety protocols, including proper handling of promotional materials and displays.
  • Monitor, transport, and maintain inventory, ensuring items are secure, clean, and well-stocked for each event.
  • Stay adaptable and ready for whatever comes next in this fast-paced retail environment!

Qualifications to Succeed :

  • High School diploma or relevant work experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required, with ability to pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) check and maintain minimum auto insurance coverage as defined by T-ROC.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, along with acute attention to detail.
  • Reliable transportation access is necessary to travel to assigned retail locations.
  • Exceptional customer service capabilities with a knack for quickly identifying and solving problems.
  • Proficiency in smartphones and mobile applications.
  • Able to stand for extended periods, frequently squat, bend, and reach, and lift / carry 25 to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Must own a smartphone that supports the Vision App for time, data, and photo reporting, in addition to any required apps for effective product promotion.
