Serving the local community since 1929, this regional healthcare system is dedicated to providing full service primary care, specialty, inpatient, and outpatient services to the local community. Their offerings include, among others, pulmonology, endocrinology, rheumatology, anesthesiology, oncology, pediatrics, urology, carology, internal medicine, and family medicine. This is a very stable, thriving healthcare system with a CEO who s been at the helm for more than 30 years. All providers are employees of the system.

POSITION DESCRIPTION :

The new physician will work in the area of hematology / oncology in the area s largest cancer center. The group currently employs three (3) radiation oncologists and four (4) hematologist / oncologists. They are hiring two (2) more physicians due to growth.

Physicians work with dedicated assistants who room and prep patient visits, as well as assist during visits as needed.

The practice has extensive resources available, including an EHR and robust administrative support.

Exact details of the job description are negotiable and will be collaboratively decided with the new physicians.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Louisiana medical license
• DEA
• Board Certified or Eligible, Hematology / Oncology
