Learning & Development Specialist

Legacy Community Health is seeking a visionary and strategic Learning and Development Specialist to empower our workforce and advance our mission. Legacy Community Health is located at 2929 Allen Pkwy Ste 1300, Houston, TX 77019 (Hybrid).

Key Responsibilities

  • With direction of HR leadership team, develop and deliver innovative training programs.
  • Manage L & D projects to ensure timeliness and accountability of deliverables and adherence to timelines.
  • Support delivery of New Employee Orientation and Annual Mandatory Education. Collaborate with team to ensure content is relevant, appropriate, and effectively delivered.
  • Develop training modules for delivery through the Learning Management System (LMS). Provide timely updates and reports to HR and Operational / Clinical Leadership on completion of assigned modules / trainings.
  • Facilitate in-person and virtual classes as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Four (4) of human resources, training, employee coaching or development experience is required.
  • Previous experience as a supervisor or in leading teams is required.
  • Previous experience in developing and delivering training programs is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Above average organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to adapt to organizational change.
  • Ability to work well with a team and collaborate to complete projects effectively and on time.
  • Bilingual / Spanish fluency is preferred.
  • Demonstrated competency with an EHRS system
