Medical Technologist

Job Description :

• Salary : $50K - $65K
• Signing Bonus : $10,000 sign-on bonus

Position Summary :

The Medical Laboratory Tech / Medical Laboratory Scientist performs laboratory testing, working closely with the Laboratory Director, Pathologists, and Technologists to deliver prompt and accurate results for patients. This is a full-time evening shift position, 1 : 00 pm-11 : 00 pm, on a 7 on / 7 off rotation.

Essential Duties :

Collect specimens via venipuncture, culture techniques, etc.

Adhere to OSHA, CLIA, and Joint Commission regulations.

Work independently, responding promptly to codes, traumas, and emergencies.

Operate and maintain laboratory instruments, ensuring quality control.

Manage logs, patient result data, and specimen accession.

Report STAT results within 60 minutes, perform manual tests as needed, and set up bacterial cultures.

Minimum Qualifications :

Certification as Medical Laboratory Scientist / Technician through ASCP, AMT, or equivalent

Associate's or bachelors degree in Clinical Lab Science or related field

Preferred hospital experience

Must-Have Qualifications :

1. ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification

2. Associate's degree or higher in Clinical Lab Science or a related field

3. Willingness to relocate to Vernal, UT

4. Prior work authorization (no sponsorship available)
