The staffing consists of both day and night shifts. Day shift includes 1 charge nurse, 9 bedside RNs, and 1 PCT. Night shift includes 1 charge nurse and 9 bedside RNs. Patient ratios are typically 1 : 2 or 1 : 1 based on patient needs. Equipment utilized includes Philip monitors, Alaris, and Medfusion IV pumps. Electronic medical record system is Meditech. Ideal candidates will have experience with conscious sedations and CT placement. Candidates with post-operative cardiac experience and venous puncture skills are preferred.
