Position Summary

The Custodian / Dishwasher will be responsible for cleaning many surfaces within the kitchen and cafeteria. This would include walls, floors, shelves and drains. This position will also include some dishwashing where the employee washes and sanitizes all tableware, serving materials, cooking equipment and small wares. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.

This role pays an hourly rate of $18.00-$20.00

About the Venue

The cafeteria at Green River Community College is open Monday through Thursday 7am -5pm and Friday 7am - 2pm. We also do extensive caterings on the weekend where the hours vary. We are here to serve the students and staff the are on campus. We offer a variety of different stations with breakfast and lunch / dinner options. On the weekends we do anything from weddings to auctions for up to 500 people.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the highest cleanliness of all surfaces in the kitchen and cafeteria.
• Ensures highest sanitation levels for all items previously used so that they may be used again in clean condition, free of any contamination risk.
• Utilizes and implements M.S.D.S. criteria, food and product safety, and Food and Beverage Policies and Procedures.
• Removes all trash and maintains loading and receiving areas in safe and clean condition.
• Stocks plates, glasses, pots, utensils and pans after cleaning.
• Cleans and sanitizes all food service areas and equipment.
