ICU Nurse Job Details

Location : Fallon, NV 89406 (Nevada healthcare jobs)

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 10 / 2025 – End : 2 / 9 / 2026)

Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Guaranteed Hours : 24 per week

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1880 - $2020

On-Call : Schedule determined by facility

Weekend Schedule : Facility-based scheduling

Employment Type : Travel nursing, On-Site

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience required

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nevada

Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)

Flu vaccination required (declinations considered)

Travel nurse experience preferred

No license hits or disciplinary actions

Compliance with facility-specific background and onboarding requirements

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the ICU

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans

Administer medications, treatments, and advanced life support interventions

Educate patients and families about care, procedures, and ongoing health needs

Maintain accurate and timely documentation per hospital policies

Adapt to changing patient needs and unit priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment
