SQL Database Administrator Contractor

A company is looking for a SQL DBA Contractor. Key Responsibilities : Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization solutions Troubleshoot issues, resolve errors, and maintain overall database health Design and implement database structures while ensuring data security Required Qualifications : Extensive experience with SQL Server, including legacy versions Strong understanding of database design principles and data modeling Proficiency in scripting languages such as SQL and Python Experience with clustering, SQL versioning, and configuration management Knowledge of upgrading SQL Server from older versions (e.g., 2017 to 2019 or 2022) is preferred
