Summary / Objective : The aftersales project coordinator will be responsible for initiating, planning, and coordinating machine aftersales projects from the initial customer request to the final payment by the customer. In this role, the project coordinator will guide the technical staff, ensuring a seamless liaison between commercial and technical aspects of projects. The coordinator's expertise will be crucial in planning project stages, assessing business implications, and monitoring project progress to guarantee that deadlines, scope, and costs are met.
Specific Responsibilities and Essential Functions :
- Approach customers proactively and make them aware of possible upgrades or modifications for their machinery.
- Gather required project information via email, telephone, online meeting, or travel to customer site.
- Convert engineering technical evaluations into quotations by fully understanding the content.
- Promote, sell and explain your quotations to customers.
- Coordinate aftersales machine projects by priority and / or deadlines.
- Collaborate with others to resolve project obstacles.
- Coordinate project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.
- Align and coordinate the installation of the project with our service team.
- Release invoice and ensure payments are received.
- Follow up on past due invoices.
- Generate departmental financial and progress reports.

Three to five years’ experience in customer service, sales support or project coordination.Strong attention to detail.Proficient with computers and software : Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.Possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills with a focus on quality work.Good English communication and writing skills.Mechanical / Electrical understanding is desirable.Experience with AX ERP System is desirable.Spanish as a second language is desirable.Physical Demands :
Ability to stand for long periods.Able to move and lift up to 50 lbs.Able to reach and bend.Travel Required :
Ability to travel 10-15% on both a domestic and global basis.Other duties :
