Salary :
Peak Behavioral Health is actively seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to become part of our interdisciplinary clinic in Oklahoma City, OK. We offer flexible scheduling options, including part-time positions with the potential to transition to full-time. At Peak, we are committed to delivering a comprehensive and collaborative approach to support families and children with autism and other developmental disabilities reach their highest potential. Our clinic provides a range of services, including psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), occupational therapy (OT), and speech therapy.
This position primarily consists of the following :
The Position :
- Evaluate and treat a wide range of speech and language disorders
- Create comprehensive treatment plans
- Serve as a team member for multidisciplinary evaluations
- Diagnose and treat disorders related to feeding / oral and motor / swallowing issues
- Provide family education and training to assist in transfer of skills
- Supervise SLP assistants as needed
- Work in an outpatient, private-practice setting
- Maintain client records
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records in according with HIPAA and State and Federal Regulations
Qualifications :
2+ years experience working with children and familiesExperience working with augmentative and alternative communicationPrior experience working with children with autism or other intellectual disabilitiesPossess a degree that includes an internship from an accredited Masters program in Speech-Language Pathology, or as required by applicable law and / or regulationMaintain an Oklahoma State LicenseTraining and experience in areas of : feeding / oral and motor / swallowingMeets education and experience requirements for a Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP, granted by ASHA.Be familiar with PECS, AAC, ASLExcellent communication skills with other providers and familiesMust have great problem-solving skillsAvailable full-time 40 hours / weekPhysically able to lift up to 50 lbs.Proficient in using technology (Must be familiar with Microsoft Word and Office and familiar with EMR systems)Passionate about helping children and their familiesBenefits :
