Location : Salem, Oregon (97301) – Oregon nursing jobs

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Start Date : December 8, 2025

Shift : Day shifts, 4x10-hour variable (07 : 00-17 : 30, 09 : 00-19 : 30, 11 : 00-21 : 30)

Hours per Week : 40

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1950-$2100

Call & Weekend Coverage : Up to 6 call / weekend shifts per 6-week schedule; night call shifts (8 hours, 23 : 00-07 : 00); weekend scheduled / call shifts (10 / 12 hours)

Patient Population : Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics

Charting System : Epic (Epic charting experience required)

Qualifications – Operating Room Registered Nurse

Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience (perioperative nursing experience preferred)

Active RN license (Oregon RN license can be pending at time of submission)

BLS certification required; ACLS and CNOR certification preferred

Documented Epic charting experience

Travel nursing experience required (first-time travel nurses welcome)

Ability to float to affiliate hospitals, including West Valley Hospital (15 minutes away)

Experience in Level I or II Trauma Centers preferred

OR RN Responsibilities

Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate perioperative care to surgical patients across specialties : ortho / spine, neuro, cardiovascular / vascular, general surgery, urology, gynecology, dental, ENT, plastics, ophthalmology, and trauma

Assist with advanced surgical procedures, including Da Vinci Robotics, joint replacements, and craniotomies

Maintain strict infection control and patient safety protocols

Utilize Epic for accurate and timely patient documentation

Participate in scheduled shifts, call coverage, and weekend rotations as assigned

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including IV teams, rapid response, and interpretation services

Float to West Valley Hospital as needed to support clinical operations
