PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY :

Responsible for learning the responsibilities necessary to safely and successfully set up and operate the folder / gluer machine in accordance with the apprentice training plan and learning objectives. Partners with assigned trainer to learn responsibilities of the job and works toward achieving a standard level of proficiency for critical tasks of the role, ensuring high-quality packaging and products are produced at a consistent rate of speed in accordance with machine standards and production goals.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

QUALIFICATIONS :

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE : High school diploma or general education degree (GED); minimum of three months related experience and / or training; must have basic computer skills and possess ability to learn and utilize computer software. Must have mechanical ability and troubleshooting skills. Requires flexibility to move to one of the off shifts (evening) upon successful completion of the training program.

LANGUAGE SKILLS : Must have the ability to read and understand documents, letters, etc. and write legibly in English. Must be able to understand and speak clearly, communicate, and understand directions in English as needed.
