Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit - $2,391 per week in Salem, OR

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 hours Experience : Minimum 2 years in ICU License : RN license (pending acceptable) Certifications : BLS, ACLS, CCRN preferred Description : Start Date - January 5th or later only. CVICU skill mix required. Position involves floating between units. 12-hour night shifts from 19 : 00 to 07 : 30. ASAP start. Required certifications include BLS and ACLS. Strong cardiovascular experience is needed. Responsibilities include care for patients with primary cardiac diagnoses. Patients include those with heart failure, post-cardiac arrest, and undergoing various cardiac surgeries. The unit is a blended cardiovascular intensive care and intermediate care unit. The multidisciplinary team is dedicated to providing excellent patient care. The focus is on growth and mentoring, with specialty training provided. Advanced certification is encouraged and promoted. A robust training program covering beginner to advanced cardiovascular intensive care is available. Special procedures require strong cardio experience and skills in various technologies and interventions. Experience with arterial line management, central line care, and ventilator management is necessary. Additional required skills include interpretation of dysrhythmias and management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction. This position requires floating within the facility and to nearby affiliate hospitals. Refusing to float may result in contract cancellation.
