Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery

Location : Peterborough, NH 03458 (Monadnock Region)

Unit : Obstetrics / Labor & Delivery (8 Bed Unit)

Start Date : November 10, 2025

End Date : February 9, 2026

Duration : 13-week contract

Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (12-hour night shifts)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend Requirement : Every 3rd weekend; holidays as needed

On-Call : None

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2160–$2310

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active and current RN license (New Hampshire or compact state)

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery or Obstetrics nursing experience

Fetal Monitoring experience required

Current BLS (AHA), AWHONN, and NRP certifications

Previous travel nursing experience preferred

BSN preferred

STABLE certification preferred

Must be willing to work at least one holiday during the assignment (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year)

Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (no local travelers)

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver individualized, compassionate nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery

Monitor fetal and maternal well-being using advanced fetal monitoring techniques

Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and healthcare professionals to ensure safe, positive birth experiences

Support a range of birthing options, including natural childbirth and epidural anesthesia

Maintain accurate documentation and uphold the highest standards of patient safety

Provide personalized clinical support in a team-oriented hospital setting
