Project Controls Manager
The Project Controls Manager is a critical member of Major Project team and will beresponsible for supporting the Project Management Office (PMO) and Project Services Office (PSO) teams in all aspects of developing and maintaining project controls deliverables and providing assurance reviews. Approximately 50% travel between Akron, OH and Cleveland, OH.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of project services professionals in all aspects of monitoring and controlling the project. Identifying key information, developing insights and communicating interventions to ensure the project remains on track.
- Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPI) for cost, schedule and quality that identify risks and overall project health.
- Ensure agreement of the project team in planning and scheduling the project from FEED and Detailed Design through the Construction and Start-Up and Commissioning phases.
- Work with the PMO and Project Stakeholders to track project risks and communicate risk mediation status.
- Serve as liaison between PSO and PMO, on all planning issues related to project execution.
- Identify or develop procedures and instructions for preparation and maintenance of project estimates, cost workbooks, and plans and schedules.
- Support PMO with reporting including risk analysis and earned value.
- Ensure accurate reporting schedule, progress and productivity of engineering and construction services, track and monitor earned value progress.
- Monitors actual progress and comparison to baseline, and reports the analysis, against the schedule and cost estimate, to PMO and PSO teams.
- Participates in regularly periodic Cost and Schedule Reviews to ensure that stakeholder cost and schedule reporting requirements are being met.
- Lead the preparation of reports of Earned Value and variance of the Project Plan.
Competencies / Qualifications
