Start Date : March 2, 2026

End Date : August 31, 2026

Duration : 26 weeks

Schedule : 5x8-hour day shifts (08 : 00 – 17 : 00); minimum 1 week of clinic coverage per month; flexible scheduling available

Call Requirements : No call required

Setting : Academic / Training Hospital – Collaborative clinical environment

Support : Team includes 3 staff physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs)

EMR : EPIC

Estimated Weekly Salary

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $12,830 - $13,750

Electrophysiology Cardiologist Qualifications

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiology with fellowship training in Electrophysiology

Active Kentucky medical license or willingness to obtain (Kentucky cardiology jobs)

Valid DEA license (Kentucky)

Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in Electrophysiology

COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical / religious exemptions considered)

Responsibilities – Electrophysiology Cardiology Locum Tenens

Deliver outpatient electrophysiology cardiology care in a busy academic hospital clinic

See 16-20 patients per half-day clinic with APP support

Perform and interpret EP procedures, including ablations and pacemaker insertions

Participate in 1-day procedure block shifts with lab time as needed

Document patient care using EPIC EMR

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care

Engage in academic and training activities as appropriate
