Job descriptionProvide care appropriate to the age and needs of patients Perform office diagnostic and therapeutic procedures Conduct therapeutic procedures (e.g., injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care, infection management) Counsel patients on treatment compliance, preventive health, family planning, and emotional well-being Develop and implement patient management plans Document patient progress and ensure continuity of care Conduct comprehensive physical exams and compile medical data M.S. or D.N.P. degree from an accredited school of nursing Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner Current or eligible licensure in the State of Connecticut Valid Federal and State Controlled Substance Licenses Primarily daytime schedule with some evening hours (8-hour shifts, Monday Friday) One Saturday per month (4-hour shift with stipend) Medical, dental, and vision coverage Life insurance and short-term disability Employee Assistance & Wellness Programs 403(b) retirement savings plan 5 weeks of paid time off 9 paid holidays Malpractice insurance coverage Loan repayment opportunities through NHSC and NHSC Scholarship Repayment Site 32 hours of CME time annually CME / CEU and CPE stipends Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates
Family Nurse Practitioner Opportunity - Putnam, CT About the Organization : A regional community health center serving a 37-town rural region in eastern Connecticut, with sites in Willimantic, Danielson, Norwich, and Putnam. The dedicated staff provides a full range of primary care services to all ages including medical, dental, and behavioral health care, as well as care coordination and community outreach. In addition to main facilities, services include mobile programs and School-Based Health Centers. Compensation :
- Base salary :
- Starting at $113,263+ (Master s level) - Starting at $118,263+ (Doctorate level) - Salary commensurate with experience
Position Summary : Seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to deliver a broad range of clinical primary care services for patients across the lifespan. This role includes ambulatory care for adults, pediatrics, and gynecology. Key Responsibilities :
