About the Role :

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support reporting, budgeting, and financial operations. This role is responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and supporting decision-making processes across the organization. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Reporting & Analysis

Produce, distribute, and present recurring financial and operational reports, along with ad hoc analyses.

Deliver detailed revenue cycle reporting including payments, billed charges, A / R, payor mix, and other performance metrics.

Conduct physician and provider productivity / utilization analyses, referral tracking, and benchmarking.

Analyze inter-entity expense and revenue allocations.

Act as a subject-matter expert for financial, billing, and decision-support systems.

Maintain and enhance data download routines, reporting / query tools, and documentation.

Recommend, develop, and maintain financial databases and software / reporting processes.

General Accounting & Financial Operations

Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, and payroll entries, invoices, and other supporting documents.

Review invoices and coordinate payments through Accounts Payable.

Assist in creating annual operating budgets and advise department leaders on financial considerations.

Support due diligence and onboarding for new provider / practice acquisitions.

Perform financial analysis for new groups to determine compensation structures and forecast performance.

Partner with operations and leadership to plan transitions for capital assets, leases, service contracts, and vendors.

Maintain inter-entity agreements and develop financial models to forecast and reconcile impact.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree a plus

Experience in accounting or financial analysis

Healthcare industry experience preferred but not required

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
