Manager in training

The manager in training is being prepared to take on a full-time management position. This role is structured to build leadership skills, operational knowledge, and decision-making abilities. It’s hands-on, often fast paced, and designed to test the readiness for the pressures of management.

The main goal of the manager in training program is to develope future leaders who can :

Run daily operations smoothly

Lead a team effectively

Hit performance targets

Solve problems under pressure

Uphold Big O Tires company policies and core values.

Key Responsibilities

Learn company policies, systems, and workflow

Assist in supervision staff and daily operations

Observe and participate in hiring, scheduling, and performance reviews

Works on customer service and conflict resolution

Track performance metrics and learn how to drive improvements

Receive mentorship from senior managers

Skills built during training

Leadership : Learning how to motivate, guide, and hold a team accountable

Time Management : Prioritizing tasks in a fast moving environment

Communication : Handling employee feedback and customer issues clearly and professionally

Problem-Solving : Thinking quickly and acting confidently when challenges arise

Business Acumen : Understanding how decisions affect the bottom line
