RN Supervisor Job Details

Location : Artesia, NM (zip 88210) – New Mexico healthcare opportunity

Facility Setting : Acute Care

Employment Type : Travel Nursing

Shift Schedule : 12-hour night shifts (consecutive shifts preferred)

Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1380–$1480

RN Supervisor Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico or compact state

At least 1 year of acute care RN experience

BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (AHA or ARC)

Experience with critical care medications required

Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills

Ability to collaborate with EMS, flight services, and multidisciplinary teams

Proficiency with CPSI charting system and computer skills

RN Supervisor Responsibilities

Provide leadership and clinical support to staff in Emergency Department (ED) and Medical-Surgical (MS) units

Conduct rounds throughout the hospital and departments

Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers (A / D / T)

Coordinate patient transfers to other facilities, working closely with EMS and flight services

Mix and administer critical care medications as needed

Step in to assist staff and take patient assignments in emergency situations

Demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment
