Warehouse Associate will handle, move / store, pack & ship, various non-hazardous and hazardous materials. Duties will include loading and unloading shipments, recording shipment and inventory statuses, and making sure the deliveries properly match purchase orders. This is a six-month temporary role.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare shipment trays and package them according to instructions. This includes collaborating with internal team members.
- Labeling every shipment and placing them accordingly
- Verifying the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Keeping a well-maintained and updated account of stock and inventory.
- Organize and maintain the work environment and implement 6S
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.Minimum of 6 months experience working in a warehouse setting.Experience in record keeping, data entry, and stock management using Microsoft Excel spreadsheetsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHighly organized, self-motivated, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.Ability to multitask and pay close attention to details.Basic computer skillsPhysical Demands & Work Location :
Fremont, CA : This is an on-site job. Reliable commute or planning to relocate before starting work is required.Adhere to the company’s quality and safety requirements.Ability to lift / move up to 50 pounds.May be required to stand, sit, squat, bend, kneel, twist, crawl, reach, lift, balance, push, and pull.May need to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including, but not limited to, a lab coat, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, respirator and safety shoes.Benefits
