Charge Nurse
Position Summary :
Oversees and supports C.N.A.s to ensure the timely delivery of quality care to patients, interpreting and clarifying medical instruction from physicians or Director of Nursing (DON), charting and reporting on any changes in conditions, passing medications and delivering other treatment regimens required in accordance with all regulations and policies governing nursing and patient care.
Qualifications :
- Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license valid in California
- 1-2 years of experience in a Nursing or similar Facility preferred
- Customer service and emotional maturity- ability to remain calm / kind in all situations
- Outstanding communication (verbal and written), and organizational skills
Responsibilities :
Observe, document and report on symptoms and any change in conditions of assigned patients / residentsTake and record temperatures, respiration and pulseAdminister medications and treatments as prescribed, recording results / outcomesSet up treatment trays, clean and prepare equipment as needed and directed by DONMaintain accurate, understandable patient care records and other clinical documentationIdentify process, or other facility issues, offering solutions for improvements to DON or Administrator in a professional collaborative mannerLead by example in supporting a kind, collaborative and supportive work environmentBenefits :
