  • Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 22 / 2025 – End : 3 / 23 / 2026)\n
  • Healthcare Setting : General Operating Room (excluding open heart and neurosurgery)\n
  • Nursing Shift : 4x10-hour day shifts (07 : 00 – 17 : 30)\n
  • Hours per Week : 40\n
  • On-Call : 4-6 calls within a 6-week matrix (30-minute response required)\n
  • Weekend Coverage : 4-6 weekend shifts within a 6-week matrix (days, evenings, or nights)\n
  • Holiday Coverage : Must be available to work 2 of 3 major holidays\n
  • Patient Population : Neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics\n
  • Facility Size : 18 OR rooms, 593 beds, daily census 50-60\n

    • \n\nOperating Room RN Qualifications\n \n

  • Minimum 3 years of recent Operating Room Registered Nurse experience\n
  • Level I Trauma experience required (Level II accepted with >

    • 1 year experience)\n

  • Previous travel nursing experience required\n
  • Active and unencumbered RN license (Pennsylvania preferred)\n
  • BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)\n
  • Proficiency with Epic charting system preferred\n
  • Ability to function independently in specialties including Robotics, Orthopedics, General Surgery, GYN, Urology, Bariatrics, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Thoracic (excluding cardiac and open heart), and Trauma\n
  • Proficiency with Da Vinci Xi robotic system required; familiarity with DV5 Da Vinci robot is a plus\n
  • Must be able to both scrub and circulate in the operating room\n
  • COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical / religious exemptions considered)\n
  • Facility is tobacco and fragrance free\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to surgical patients across multiple specialties\n
  • Scrub and circulate for procedures including robotic, orthopedic, general, GYN, urology, bariatric, ENT, plastics, vascular, thoracic (excluding cardiac and open heart), and trauma cases\n
  • Demonstrate expertise with Da Vinci Xi and DV5 Da Vinci robotic systems\n
  • Respond promptly to on-call and weekend assignments as scheduled, with a 30-minute response time\n
  • Float to other areas of the operating room as needed\n
  • Accurately document patient care using Epic electronic health records\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes\n
  • Comply with all facility policies, including infection control, safety, and universal protocols\n
