Radio Frequency Engineer (RF Engineer)

Location : Jurong East Industry : Engineering Design, analyze, and simulate RF circuits and systems for communication applications such as cellular, satellite, radar, Wi-Fi, IoT etc Develop and integrate RF subsystems such as filters, antennas, amplifiers, mixers, and transceivers. Work on link budget analysis and RF propagation modeling to support communication system design. Conduct laboratory testing using spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes. Optimize system performance by evaluating signal integrity, interference, and power efficiency. Support regulatory compliance efforts (e.g., FCC, ETSI, ITU) and documentations for certification. Provide technical support during system integration and field-testing phases. Requirements Relevant experience in RF engineering Experience with satellite or radar communication systems. Familiarity with software-defined radio (SDR) platforms. Knowledge of embedded systems and firmware for RF control. Understanding of RF theory, electromagnetic wave propagation, modulation techniques, and wireless protocols. Proficiency with simulation tools (e.g., CST, HFSS, ADS, MATLAB) and RF testing equipment. Experience with PCB layout for RF circuits and familiarity with design tools like Altium or Cadence. Knowledge of communication standards (e.g., LTE, 5G, Bluetooth, Zigbee, WLAN, GPS).
