General Summary of Position

MedStar Harbor Hospital Float PoolOverview Floats pool nurses workon different units throughout MedStar Harbor Hospital as needed. We offer anadditional $10.00 / hr float pool bonus and our lucrative MedStar Health benefitpackage. Although we are seeking those with significant ICU and Med Surg RNexperience for these roles, MedStar Harbor Hospital's Float PoolRNs have historically worked in the following units : neuro / ortho med surgtelemetry, stepdown / IMC, critical care, ED and ED Boarders.

Available Roles : Full Time Nights : three 12-hour shifts & every 3rd weekend with full benefits

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse you will deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex. You will identify current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations and critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.
