Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Preparing and organizing the operating room to facilitate surgical procedures
  • Upholding sterile fields and following stringent infection control measures
  • Assisting surgeons and surgical assistants by providing them with the needed instruments and supplies
  • Managing surgical equipment effectively throughout all phases of operations
  • Monitoring inventory to ensure the operating room is adequately stocked for procedures
  • Collaborating closely with the nursing staff, anesthesiologists, and other surgical team members to deliver seamless care
  • Accurately maintaining surgical counts and thorough documentation
Education Requirements:
  • Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary
Certifications Needed:
  • Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification is required
  • BLS certification (or the ability to secure it within 90 days of hire)
