Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a skilled nursing rehabilitation team for a 13-week contract. This role offers the opportunity to support patient-centered care plans, collaborate with interdisciplinary professionals, and help individuals regain independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans under OT supervision.
Support patients in developing and improving daily living and functional abilities.
Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
Participate in care coordination and communication with facility staff.
Promote patient safety and compliance with rehabilitation goals.
Schedule
Shift varies (based on facility needs)
No holiday coverage required
Requirements
Active state COTA license
Less than 1 year of experience required (new graduates welcome)
Ability to maintain professional communication and documentation standards
EMR experience preferred but not required
