Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology in San Antonio area - Westover Hills

Tenet Healthcare and the Baptist Health System are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our clinic in the Westover Hills area of San Antonio. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide high-quality care to our patients, primarily in an outpatient setting, with some inpatient rounding as well. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a passion for making a positive impact on the health of the community. While experience is always appreciated, this would also be a great opportunity for a new graduate as well.

Qualifications :

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas
• Strong clinical skills and patient care experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

General Summary : Provides specialized nursing services with guidance of the attending physician. Completed related work as required. Considerable medical judgment is required to determine the appropriate procedure within scope of practice.

Essential Job Responsibilities :

Education : Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of nursing : Master's degree in nursing; completion of a state acceptable Nurse Practitioner's program

Certification : Advanced Nurse Practitioner license to practice in the state. CPR Certified. DEA registration with state.
