Job Title : Lead Data Warehouse & Database Modernization Engineer

Location : Albany NY (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Qualifications :

• Tax System Design & Support : Lead the technical design development maintenance and end-user support for critical Tax & Revenue Accounting Systems and Tax Identification Systems within a government taxation organization context.
• Advanced DB2 LUW Administration : Serve as the subject matter expert for DB2 LUW on AIX including administering environments utilizing PureXML and the Database Partitioning Feature (DPF).

Execute full-stack DBA duties : logical / physical design comprehensive performance tuning (storage memory buffering) robust backup / recovery strategies and object maintenance.

Program using the IDMS DMLO language and perform deep logical design database navigation analysis specification writing testing and documentation.

Ensure seamless and high-availability data replication between DB2 for z / OS and DB2 LUW on AIX.
