We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Care team. In this role, you will work independently and collaboratively to provide exceptional nursing care to patients in critical situations, addressing both routine and complex needs. - Deliver comprehensive nursing care as per the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, which includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
- Address the complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
- Administer medications and treatments following established protocols while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
- Document essential patient information, including medical history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
- Assess learning needs and offer educational support to patients, families, and caregivers, identifying relevant issues and resources.
Requirements :
Education : Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.Experience : At least 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.Licenses and Certifications :Current BLS certification required.Active RN license in the state of employment or compact.Current ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.Position Requirements :
All newly hired RNs must participate in New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire, during which they will be precepted by a trained staff member.Newly licensed RNs will have the option to join a residency program or specific orientation, with hands-on skills and competency validation at the bedside.Completion of all annual competency verification requirements is expected.Credential Grace Periods :
Understanding that credentials are vital, we will provide a grace period for certifications, dependent on your experience level :
Experienced Associates must obtain ACLS and PALS within 30 days of hire; TNCC within 60 days.New Graduates and Associates New to the Specialty have a slightly longer grace period—90 days for ACLS and PALS, and up to 18 months for TNCC.This is a full-time position where you can make a real difference.
