Job Details

  • Facility : Alaska Regional Hospital
  • Need : RN (perm AK license is required for submission)
  • Shift : 7 : 00PM - 7 : 30 AM
  • Unit : LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum)
  • Start : asap
  • Length of Assignment : 13 weeks

    • Job Requirements

  • Perm AK license is required for submission
  • Must have OR circulator experience
  • Must have Labor and delivery experience
  • AWHONN intermediate Fetal Monitoring or NCC-EFM certification
  • NRP
  • ACLS
  • BLS

    • Schedule Information

  • Night Shift
  • On Call Requirements : 2 shifts on call per four-week schedule
  • Weekend Requirements : 2 weekends, but variable depending on staffing

    • Unit Specific Information

  • Number of Beds - 7
  • Number of Staff – 4 night nurses on staff currently
  • Patient Ratios – 1 : 3 variable by census and acuity
  • Type of equipment – GE fetal monitors, Panda warmers, IUPC, Kiwi vac., Koala IUPC
  • EMR – Epic and CPN connect
  • Type of staff : Day Shift – 2 RN and 1 Scrub Tech, Night Shift – 2 RN and 1 Scrub Tech
  • Typical procedures performed : Induction, C-Section, Vaginal delivery, D&C, cerclage, versions and bilateral tubal ligation, Triage, NST, OB injections, OP infusions, IUFD care
