The facility consists of both semi-private and private beds with a total of 100 residents. There are two floors dedicated to long-term care and skilled nursing facilities. Patients exhibit common diagnoses such as diabetes, COPD, post-stroke conditions, heart disease, and dementia. Nurses will be responsible for medication administration, vital signs, blood sugar checks, wound care, and ostomy management. Occasional IV antibiotic administration and potential PICC line management may be required. Daily team huddles involve attendance from nursing staff for updates and care coordination. No respiratory therapists are present on-site 24 / 7, so nursing staff are expected to manage respiratory treatments and equipment. There is no telemetry monitoring within the facility. Pharmacy services include a medication dispensing system with bubble packs for patient prescriptions. Shifts typically consist of either 3 RNs and / or LPNs along with a team of LNAs. Weekend and holiday work may be required on an every-other-weekend basis. Floating between different areas of the facility may be necessary. Dress code requires professional appearance in any color scrubs, with restrictions on jewelry and hair styling. No tattoos on the face are permitted. This role requires excellent nursing skills and the ability to work within an interdisciplinary team, which includes physical therapy, occupational therapy, and case management professionals. Supervisory staff will be available as resources during each shift.
